Redispersible polymer powder is mixed into cement based mortar and has a certain water-reducing effect. The water-reducing rate increases according to the increase of the ash ratio. Moreover, because the polymer and cement form an interpenetrating network structure, this strengthens the bonding between aggregates.and also blocks some pores in the mortar.So the performance of the hardened polymer-modified mortar is better than ordinary mortar.
